Federated — adj.
Federated Metal is the fusion of materials, epochs, and methods into one lasting piece of metal. Fusion is what defines America — something new and better, built from the sum of its parts. We make objects that represent their owners and endure.
A small forge
Federated Metal works in gold, silver, and bronze. Objects are modeled digitally and cast in metal — modern tools, old material. Every piece is numbered at casting and entered in a register.
Numbered editions
Every product is an edition of 500 or fewer. The serial is struck into the metal at the moment of casting, so the number on the bar matches the number on the certificate that ships with it. Pictured is a bespoke statue statue modeled after salvador mundi, inside is a 30ct diamond.
society documented
A bronze sculpture of the Robert E. Lee monument in New Orleans during its removal on May 19, 2017. The statue stood at Lee Circle from 1884 and was the last of the city's four Confederate monuments to come down. Figure, column, boom lift, and crew, cast as one piece. Modeled from a press photograph of the removal. 6¼ inches tall.
